Spicy Pineapple Margarita

Ingredients  

  • 3 cups of frozen pineapple, cubed
  • 1 to 2 cups of ice
  • 3 ounces tequila blanco
  • 3 ounces grande mariner
  • 3 slices jalapeños, seeded
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Garnish: jalapeños, pineapple and tajin

Method 

  • Add pineapple, ice, jalapeño slices, tequila, grande mariner, and juice from one lime into the blender. Blend until smooth
  • Rim glasses with lime wedge. Place tajin onto a plate and dip the lime coated rim into the tajin, roating in a circle to coat glasses rim
  • Pour spicy pineapple margarita into glasses and garnish with an extra jalapeño slice and pineapple
  • Optional: depending on the pineapple’s sweetness level and your preference, you may want to add a splash of agave syrup
