Butter for greasing pie dish and sugar for dusting bottom and sides of dish
Whipped Cream
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
2 tbsps of powdered sugar
Zest from half an orange
Method
Prevent your screen from going dark
Butter pie dish and sprinkle in sugar. Roll the dish around so the sugar sticks to the butter
In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, mix together the whole milk, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, flour and salt. Blend until there are no clumps
Arrange strawberry and plum slices on the bottom of pan, pour batter over the fruit
Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 375 degrees
While the clafoutis is baking, add heavy whipping cream to mixer with whisk attachment
Whisk on medium, add in zest and powdered sugar
Whisk until you have whipped cream, don’t over whisk or you will get butter
Top the clafoutis with orange zest whipped cream and powdered sugar
