Place cucumbers on a cutting board and gently smash them lengthwise using the flat side of a knife. Use caution while smashing.
Once slightly broken apart, cut cucumbers into bite size pieces and transfer to a serving bowl.
In a small bowl, mix garlic, soy sauce, black vinegar, sesame oil, honey, white pepper, and sesame seeds.
Pour dressing over cucumbers and gently toss until evenly coated.
Finish with a drizzle of chili crunch or chili oil before serving.
Serve immediately or chill briefly before serving for extra refreshment.
