Chocolate Covered Strawberry Carrots

These chocolate-covered strawberry carrots are a fun and festive way to celebrate Easter! Fresh strawberries are dipped in vibrant orange chocolate to resemble carrots, then nestled in a garden of crushed Oreo "dirt" and green coconut "grass." They’re simple to make, visually adorable, and sure to be a hit at any Easter gathering!

Ingredients  

  • 12 fresh strawberries
  • 12 ounces orange candy melts
  • 12 Oreo cookies
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • Green food dye

Method 

  • Wash and dry strawberries thoroughly.
  • Follow package instructions to melt the orange candy melts until smooth. Holding each strawberry by the stem, dip into the melted candy, covering up to the base of the stem. Place on parchment paper to set.
  • In a food processor, pulse Oreos with melted butter until they resemble dirt. Spread onto a serving plate.
  • In a small bowl, mix shredded coconut with a few drops of green food dye until fully coated. Sprinkle the coconut "grass" over the Oreo "dirt," then place the chocolate-covered strawberry "carrots" on top.
