Ingredients
- 4 ounces pimentos drained
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp jalapeños diced, seeds removed
- 1 tsp onion salt (I recommend Trader Joe’s brand)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp smoked paprika
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the drained pimentos, shredded cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, diced jalapeños, onion salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Stir all ingredients together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning with more pepper and salt, if needed.
- Store the pimento cheese in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
