This Sparkling Citrus Punch is bursting with citrus flavor, natural fizz, and the perfect amount of sweetness. It’s made with pineapple juice, blood orange Italian soda, and two types of sparkling lime drinks for a refreshingly bright non-alcoholic party drink that looks just as good as it tastes. Whether you’re hosting a baby shower, Easter brunch, or spring garden party, this punch is a crowd-pleaser that comes together in minutes.

Why You’ll Love This Sparkling Citrus Punch

  • Show-stopping presentation with citrus roses that freeze beautifully.
  • Naturally fizzy and fruity from sparkling water and prebiotic soda.
  • Make-ahead magic – the citrus roses can be prepped days in advance.
  • No added sugar needed – it’s perfectly sweet from the fruit and soda.
  • Crowd-pleaser for all ages—fresh, flavorful, and non-alcoholic.

When to Make This Recipe

  • Brunches (Mother’s Day, Easter, weekend get-togethers)
  • Baby or bridal showers
  • Birthday parties
  • Summer picnics or BBQs
  • Holiday brunches or even NYE as a non-alcoholic bubbly option

Bonus: Built-in Chill Factor

One of the best parts about this punch—besides how pretty it is—is that it stays cold for a long time. The frozen pineapple and raspberries act like flavorful ice cubes, while the frozen citrus roses do double duty: they keep your punch chilled and look stunning floating on top. No need to water it down with regular ice!

How to Make Frozen Citrus Roses for Punch Garnish

(As seen in my Bagel Charcuterie Board, but perfect for drinks too!)

What You’ll Need:

  • Citrus fruits (oranges and lemons
  • Paring knife
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Slice the Citrus:
Cut your citrus fruit in half crosswise. You’ll use one half as the base and the other to create your petals.

2. Trim the Base:
Take one half and slice off a thin piece from the bottom so it sits flat on your board. This creates a stable base for assembling the flower.

3. Hollow It Out:
Use a paring knife to carefully remove the fruit from inside the base, leaving just the peel intact. This becomes your “flower pot.”

4. Make the Petals:
From the other half, slice the citrus into very thin rounds (⅛ to ¼ inch thick), then cut those rounds in half to create half-moon shapes.

5. Build Your Flower:
Start placing the half-moon slices into the hollowed base, rind-side up. Slightly overlap each one as you work in a spiral toward the center.

6. Finish the Center:
Once you reach the middle, fold a small slice and tuck it into the center to create a tightly curled rosebud look.

Extra Tips for Beautiful Citrus Flowers:

  • As you layer closer to the center, you may need to trim your slices smaller to help them fit snugly.
  • Use different fruits for variety—lemons, blood oranges, and limes create a gorgeous color mix.
  • Place your finished citrus roses on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze overnight before adding them to the punch.

FAQs

Can I prep this ahead of time?

Yes! Mix the juices and soda up to 2 hours in advance and refrigerate. Add the frozen fruit and citrus roses just before serving for best fizz and presentation.

Can I add alcohol?

Yes! For a lighter option, add 1 cup vodka or 1 bottle (750 ml) prosecco. For a stronger version, use 1½–2 cups vodka, or combine vodka and prosecco for a sparkling cocktail punch. Start with less and adjust to taste. You can also serve the alcohol on the side so guests can customize their own glass.

What if I skip the citrus roses?

No problem—just float fresh orange and lemon slices or omit them altogether for a more effortless feel. The punch will still be delicious and eye-catching with the frozen fruit alone.

Is Poppi necessary?

Yes, for best results. Poppi keeps the punch light, balanced, and not overly sweet thanks to its lower sugar content and subtle citrus flavor. Other lemon-lime sodas may make the punch too sugary, so if you substitute, look for a comparable option with less sugar.

1 cup Colby Jack cheese (4 ounces freshly grated)
2 pie dough disks (store-bought or homemade)

In a skillet, heat avocado oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage, breaking it up into crumbles. Cook until the sausage is browned and no longer pink. Remove from heat and drain any excess oil.

Combine the cooked sausage with 3 tsp of ranch seasoning, sour cream, and the freshly grated Monterey Jack and Colby Jack cheeses. Stir until everything is well combined.

Spoon the sausage and cheese mixture into the prepared pie crusts in the muffin tins, filling them to the top.

Bake the tartlets for 12-15 minutes or until the pie dough is golden and the cheese is bubbly. Let the tartlets cool for a minute, then carefully remove them from the muffin tins. Serve warm, and enjoy these savory bites!

INGREDIENTS:
STRAWBERRY LAYER
2 lbs fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1 lemon juiced
2 tsp vanilla extract

MASCARPONE CREAM
2 cups cold heavy whipping cream
16 oz mascarpone cheese softened
2/3 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract

TO ASSEMBLE
14 oz ladyfinger cookies (Savoiardi)
1/2 cup strawberry jam or preserves (optional but delicious)
Extra strawberries for topping

Prep the Strawberries:
In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla. Let sit for 15-30 minutes until juicy.

Make the Mascarpone Cream:
In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, gently mix mascarpone until smooth, then fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone until light and fluffy.
Assemble the Layers:
Lightly dip each ladyfinger into the strawberry syrup (just a quick dunk, don’t soak!)Arrange a full layer of ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish. You may need to cut some of the ladyfingers to fit.Spread half the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.Spoon strawberry jam swirls over the cream (optional but adds amazing flavor), then layer on the macerated strawberries, saving a few spoonfuls to serve on the side.Repeat the layers: dipped ladyfingers, remaining mascarpone cream, and more strawberry jam swirls for decoration on top.

Chill at least 6 hours before serving, overnight is even better! Garnish with extra sliced strawberries when ready to serve.

Add chopped romaine lettuce to the bottom of a trifle bowl or large glass bowl.

Layer red onion, red bell pepper, and peas around the edges so they are visible from the outside.

Press sliced eggs against the glass for a layered look. Chop the remaining eggs and add them to the center to fill it in evenly.

Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the dressing, then top with chopped bacon.
